A decade of weddings and private eventsEight years building executive programs at ShopifyNow in New York

Decide early.. Write it down.. Three-minute intervals.. Nobody feels a gap.

Most planning starts with the couple and works outward. We start with the room.

That means the hundred or three hundred people who moved their lives to be there — where they sit, when they eat, whether they know where to go, whether the night has a shape they can feel. Your wedding should look like you. It should also be the best evening your people have had in years, and those are not the same job.

We were raised in banquet halls and trained in ballrooms, and we spent a decade running events where the margin for error was zero. What we do with that is unglamorous. We decide things early, we write everything down, and we build the day in three-minute intervals so nobody in the room ever feels a gap.

Why couples choose us

Our couples get a little obsessed with us, because we:

  1. Plan for every person in the room — where they sit, when they eat, whether they know where to go.
  2. Hand you the right three options instead of thirty.
  3. Build your day in three-minute intervals, so nobody ever feels a gap.
  4. Teach you your first dance. Nobody should dread the floor.
  5. Keep a plan B for our plan A, and a plan C for our plan B.
  6. Write your thank-you notes. We're the last ones out.

And I will cry at your ceremony — every time, without exception.

— Daniella

Much of what a planner does happens behind the scenes, where guests — and sometimes even the bride — never hear about it. Our day would not have been what it is without her.

She negotiated our contracts, found our vendors, built a beautiful vision, answered every question in a timely manner, and absolutely kept me sane — fielding questions not just from me but from relatives and the wedding party.

There were times I was definitely upset about a situation, and Daniella kept me feeling excited and happy no matter what. It's hard to put into photos what a planner does, but if how truly happy I look in every photo at our reception is any indication, it's safe to say she did an incredible job.

I will forever recommend her, and think of her when I hear the word wedding.

How it goes

Four stages, one very organised year.

Most couples book 9–14 months out

  1. We meet

A short questionnaire, a real call, and a proposal built for your wedding. Then the venue — five tours, not fifteen, because everything else follows from it.

  2. We design

The look, agreed while there's still time to change our minds. Then tastings and walkthroughs: the food, and the room, in that order.

  3. We handle it

Vendors, contracts, budget, seating, and a timeline built in three-minute intervals. We decide early and write everything down.

  4. We celebrate

Three of us on site, first delivery to last load-out. Then we stay: gifts recorded, thank-you notes written and mailed.

We're the last ones out.

About

I was raised in banquet halls.

I've been building rooms people don't want to leave ever since.

My mother, Marilisa Granzotto, was the ultimate hostess — Italian cooking, music always on, and a table never set for only the people who lived there. She taught me that hospitality isn't service. It's the decision to make someone feel seen.

She was also my first employee. This company carries her name because everything in it started with her.
